There's a problem i noticed and i need members to allay my doubts.

1- 5th picture shows that the 2 metal tubes being circled are not straight, because the 2 holes on each side of the lugs are not even, it is very hard to take a picture of it but i am 100% assure you all that the 2 holes on each side are not even, thus causing the 2 metal tubes to slant a little. My question is that will this damage my mesh bracelet by altering the shape ? And should i continue to use my mesh bracelet on this watch ? I doubt this will cause any problems, because the holes are only slightly not straight.

2- 4th picture shows the longer side of the mesh and 5 links attached to it, i look at the cut of the first link and realised that it is slanted, i used a ruler to prove it. 3rd picture shows the ruler slanting, this is a testament to my claim. Should the cut of the first link be straight or this is very normal for classic ocean mesh bracelet ?

3- 2nd and 1st picture shows the shorter side of the mesh without any extra link, same thing it's not straight.

Possibly against my better judgement I'm going to assume you are being serious with this thread, and I'll therefore answer accordingly -

I think it's all fine. As said before on your other thread, the mesh bracelet is flexible with many moving parts, and in order for it to be flexible and move, there needs to be gaps and play between individual parts. If the lug holes are very VERY slightly differently positioned on the watch it will cause no damage to either the watch or your bracelet. You'll be talking about miniscule differences.

I don't think there is anything wrong with it at all, so my advice is just to wear it and enjoy it or else you'll go crazy expecting everything to be micrometer perfect.

with all due respect, CivilLawyerToBe, this starts to smell like Trolling.
Very little sense to keep riding this very dead horse.

Bro thx for the reply, the uneven holes drove me nuts. i didn't expect myself to ascertain such small error. I thought of buying a new superocean heritage black but with chrono, but i think i shouldn't waste money if the uneven holes won't damage the mesh. The holes of the lugs are slightly positioned wrongly, but not very very slightly.

I see nothing wrong with the bracelet but am calling animal welfare about the horse. Seriosuly, these now 2 threads have to be some of the most ridiculous in 5 years. If it's worrying you that much then sell the watch and buy one of those $10 watches with the case and rubber strap all in one. There is absolutely nothing wrong.

Lol. Yes, I def think something is wrong with the bracelet. Take it to your local AD along with all the picture evidence, and explain it to the watchmaker there. Please tell us what they tell you. :)

I used a pen and draw the problem of my watch as it is very hard to be captured using camera.

Picture 2 shows that the 2 tubes are slanted, about 1mm slanting to the left on both sides.

Picture 1 shows the position of the watch on my wrist after walking for 30 mins, the position is normal because all watches slant in the same position on my wrist, i just don't know if the uneven holes (4) will make it worsen it.

As long as the uneven holes won't damage my bracelet, i will continue to wear it. I also don't know if the bracelet will looks slant on the left side of the wrist, on the right side it looks straight to me. When i look at the left side bracelet in the mirror, it looks like the bracelet slants towards the left, but i realised it's the same for all my watches, all my left wrist side bracelets slant to the left in mirror.

Wow. I was just joking. I don't think there's anything wrong with your watch. I think your mind is playing tricks on you with that mesh bracelet. Every bracelet's gonna have some amount of play. I think you're staring at it too much. Lol.

If it bothers you that much, then remove the mesh bracelet (using the right tools...I'd hate for you to try to remove the bracelet with the wrong tools, scratching a lug and the going crazy even more cause of that and then posting a gazillion pics and hand drawings of that too). Remove the bracelet and then measure to make sure the holes in the lug are equidistant to determine if that's really the problem. My thought is that it is just a little play in the bracelet which is normal. Just wear the watch and enjoy it dude. Even with all your pictures and drawings, it still looks perfectly normal to me. :)

Hey i can 100% confirm that the drawing of SOH pic 2 is correct, i tried my watch with crocodile strap and rubber strap, all tubes slant in the same way, but i estimate only 1mm off on each side, my bracelet is straight i think.

As advised in reply to your PM, I think you have 3 options -

1. Keep it, wear it and forget about what you think is wrong with it.
2. Take it to Breitling and see what they say if nothing we say here is going to convince you otherwise.
3. Sell it and buy something else.

That's it. There's no other options.
