Wash your mouth out with soap and water.

The B-1 is one of the all time Breitling classics and very much in demand by those who appreciate its heritage. One of the "tool" watches but retaining some classic lines which allows one to easily wear it under a suited cuff. It has probably more functions in one case than any other Breitling including the Emergency and Nav Olympus.

Keep a hold of it. I can guarantee if you sell it you'll but another. Heck, look at the list of "had"'s on my signature. If I had the funds I'd have another tomorrow. Black dial with UTC module (not that it needs one as the B-1 has it's own UTC facility....as you well know.)

Just my 2 bob's worth.

Personally I don't think the words "in fashion" should ever come into it when making a decision about a watch. I always believe that watches are a truly personal thing and if you like it then that's all that should ever count. The fickle trends of fashion shouldn't matter a jot. :D

That said, I don't think anyone would ever argue that the B1 is anything other than a true classic : IMHO it would never be described as being "of the moment".

Less dated than Breitlings with a Buck Rogers font :poke:

As others have said, B-1 is a classic Breitling.

I fully agree with the previous comments. I still wear it with pride and affection. It is the only wrist watch that warrants the term "tool on a wrist".

Other than UTC modules, the only quartz watch I own (caliber B78 SuperQuartz), all the rest being automatic or handwound chronographs. The B-1 easily garners the vast majority of wrist time, probably as much as 90%. Truly useful functionality and classic Breitling beauty combined, I don't see how the B-1 will ever be "dated". Just my .02 worth...
Best,
Ron

Definitely a classic! All that matters is that you like it!

The B-1 has one of the most creative and just plain awesome caseback designs ever conceived. If it weren't for my Citizen Skyhawk (which was gifted to me) I would totally rock this one.

Just cant justify two quartz pieces in my collection.

Quite simply one of the most useful pilot Breitling watches ever. From an era that i think most will come to agree was the peak of Breitling design.
