Needing some info ASAP.

On holiday at the moment and one of the Breitling dealers (branch confirmed online) are offering 20% off at the moment.

I'm stuck between the Navitimer World and the Montbrillant Datora.

The Navitimer World (black face & strap) is £3333.
The Montbrillant Datora (white face & silver bracelet) is £4166.

I've always wanted the World, but the Datora is stunning!

Are those good prices?
What's the better and more desirable watch?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

20% discount for the UK is very good.
No real advice for buying, try them both and don't be in a hurry.
One will speak louder to you.

But not as good as it used to be, and I certainly wouldn't be rushing a decision for the sake of it.

Might be worth PMing ricardo who works for a UK AD and see what he could do before committing.

Thanks for the replies guys. I appreciate it.

I'll pm Ricardo after this message.

Not buying for the sake of it... Wanted a World for a long time and with the 20% discount and then some more, I think it makes sense.

The Montbrillant Datora sits slightly better on my wrist. World feels a bit bulky but not enough to put me off.

Decisions...

Datora all the way for me, much more sensible size and is timeless.

Spoke to Ricardo and he says both prices are approximately 29.5% off UK prices and that he wouldn't be able to match them - so that sounds promising from a financial point of view.

Just need to make my mind up.

Thanks for everyone's opinions.
I'll be sure to post a pic of it.

Well, I ended up going for the Navitimer World after trying both on countless times.

Datora is gorgeous but I kept going back to the World.

Will get photos up when I'm home.

Thanks for all the help.

FWIW, I'm partial to the Datora. It's my favorite Breitling.

Good choice! I've got a black World, and it's classic Breitling IMHO. Not that the Datora isn't, but there's something about the white/black contrast on the black leather that I love. Put the bracelet on it and it's totally different; it's beautiful, but pretty flashy, and gets noticed more than any of my other watches.
Enjoy!

I definitely agree with the World...ever since I became interested in Breitling this watch was the iconic Breitling in my opinion. It's a heavy watch but you really don't even notice the weight.

Well here it is!

Excuse the quality of the photos as they were taking by an everyday digital camera. No fancy lenses here...
