The rubber bezels have been in general circulation for two and a half years now, give or take. We have not received any complaints or seen any anything to suggest that they are not standing up to customer abuse.
It's a good question about refurbishing, of which I do not know the answer. I would guess that they would be a replacable rather than refurbished item. Remolding the rubber may be cost prohibitive in contrast.
I'll ask the question of Service next week and get back to you.
