It comes down to what you like and want. Breitlings range from about $3k to the hundred-grand ballpark (special editions with rare materials) and I am sure if you wanted it and had the cash that they could make you something even more expensive. I like the other brands but I am more attracted to Breitling, which is why it is the watch on my wrist. Personal preference. Some people say the 904L steel Rolex uses justifies the premium...again, that's personal call so comparing the prices of expensive watches is a very subjective art IMO.

I think the Breitling watches with an in house movement are pretty reasonable priced watches compared with other brands. I think most of the watch companies ask for prices witch are pretty high. But as long as people are buying there products, the price is right, isn't it?

I think the transocean unitime is very well priced, compares to the other watches with the same function and inhouse movements in the same metals, the breitling is by far the cheapest
