I stumbled upon this when browsing the web for my next pickup and wow does it check all of the boxes for me. I like that it is using a chrono based movement (Valjoux 7753 I believe) as opposed to a chrono module on a base ETA. Plus the thing looks absolutely stunning and at 44mm, dare I say it is the perfect size?!

It looks to have been released this year and searching gave me very little results. Anyone own one and have any thoughts?

Pictures are always welcome as well! Photo posted here taken directly from Breitling's website.

looks beautiful, and I agree about ~44mm being a better size than the 46(too big for my wrist)

Breitling is showing some real smarts for a change with that watch by making the 3 hand available in the 42mm and now this chrono in 44. The SOH has some broad based appeal. (Could next year see a ceramic bezel and in-house 3 hand??? I'd be an owner, maybe of both.)

Props where props are due - well done Breitling. :lingsrock:

Oh, and I forgot to mention, it is the only watch I wear, day in day out :)

Nice! Do you wear it on the mesh or rubber strap? Wondering how comfortable the mesh is.

I have the mesh bracelet. Can't comment on the comfort as I have nothing to compare it to. My previous watch was much smaller and lighter. I have had a bit of a rash from hair getting pulled of at the inside of the wrist (at the pulse point), but i think it was because I like to wear the bracelet a bit loose, so it slid up and down the arm. Plus the weather where I live is hot and humid in summer time. I got through winter fine.

The 46 is big on my wrist, but I had no choice in the matter as the watch was a birthday present, and I do like the idea of a big watch.

I would immediately buy one if the watch would have a diameter at 40-42 mm AND would show the "normal" ETA-Valjoux 7750 layout with 12 h chrono and day-date feature!!!
Earlier photoshop by a forum mate attached.
I'd choose a blackeye-blue dial first, or blue if blackeye-blue is not available. ETA-Valjoux 7751 layout (possibly without moonphase, just like on the Montbrillant Datora) does the job too...
Mesh is fine for me, would prefer a Navi or Pilot though.
Best,
Robert

It does look nice. Can't really comment about movement as I'm not too knowledgable about that. My only gripe is the mesh bracelet. Does the pro 2 fit on this?

Sorry bnewbie, it does. The diver pro two comes in a 22mm as well as a 24mm. The new 44mm super ocean heritage utalizes a 22mm band or strap :)

I believe that boogiebot meant on Pro2 steel bracelet, which doesn't fit.
Any rubber or leather/croco with 22mm will fit it, of course. :)

Correct! :) I thought he meant the diver pro 2 band.
