hello everybody

I have found this offer on ebay:

http://www.ebay.de/itm/RARE-VINTAGE-BRE ... 3ccb03f74e

can anybody help me with the watch?
is everything ok with it and furthemore is there really a venus 178 inside?
how much do you think the watch is worth (since it does not look like it is in 1A conditions..)?

Thank you very much !

hmmmm.....

case is from a late ref. 810, approx, 1967, as are the hands;
dial seems a replacement, as it is an earlier dial design, used in the ref. 810 launched in 1963/1964

movement is a Venus 178.

I do not see a serial number, not even a trace, you should doublecheck this w/ the seller.

so: authentic, but a bit imperfect

re value: hard to say, nice early 810s sometimes go to $1,500 to 1,750, have even seen some sell above 2k,
but this one should remain well below that.

Real, but not 100% original - dial looks like it's redone and is too early for the rest of the watch.

Can't see a serial number but should be mid to late 60s.

edit - Fred beat me to it.

thank you both very much!
regarding the price, I was also thinking that 1'500 usd would be the upper limit for the watch..
we will see..
