what is supposed to come with the watch? I thought there was more paperwork...seller says it's new.

Mine came with a paper sliderule to practice with, small foldout thing with authorized distributors, certificate (Attestation De Chronometre), Sliderule instructions, International Warranty, manual

It's the new style box and papers so likely is new. Ask for a photo of all the papers and you can also check that the serials match.

So it's the new (cheaper) style box but it is not the 01 with the date window at an angle between 4 and 5? Didn't realize that was possible.

How would I be able to get it serviced, seller says it was a gift. Does the warranty still apply somewhere?

The told me the navitimer world was dicontinued, is there a new model replacing it?

If it's new it shouldn't need a service for 5+ years, and yes the warranty is transferrable so comes with the watch (and it's worldwide).

Breitling hasn't announced that it's discontinued, but there is speculation that there will be a new version with the in house movement - which will be considerably more money!
