That would be very interesting. Very. On the one hand I feel the 2000ish Chronomats were the height of Breitling before size became everything. On the other hand how do you not vote for a Navi? I think the CW would edge out the Chronomat. :( Then the 01 would edge out the 1461. :)

It would be brilliant to have the classic windrider v navitimer finale. Gotta go with the Navi there myself.

Gotta say I'm personally hoping for an all Navi final. The 01 and the 1461 are two of the best Breitlings made for years IMO, and it's hard to get more iconic and "Breitling-like" than a Navi.

I wonder what message that would send to Breitling. The final of our first 'greatest Breitling ever' competition is two of their most recent releases, but they are the ones that are the least like the latest offerings.

Well if it happens that way, hopefully it'd send the message that we still like new Breitlings, but we also like Breitling's heritage to be apparent in the designs. I hate to use the same words again, but for me it's about "evolution" rather than "revolution" (or "revoltion"! ).

This is very interesting.

Pardon me if I ask the bleedin' obvious: Is there a similar poll for vintage Breitlings?

EDIT: I just noticed the word "ever" and back tracked the poll a bit. Looks like the vintage ones dropped out in the earlier rounds... But still, maybe a poll for only vintage ones are still something to think about?

I originally suggested 4 separate brackets consisting of a bracket for vintage pieces, chronomat, super ocean, and Navitimers with the 4 winners facing off in one poll for the ultimate Breitling. That idea didn't win but I still think it would have been fun.
