Looks good to me, although I think 45mm would be the absloute max for you.

Definitley not larger. I have a 7" wrist and my Aviastar is 42mm wide x 47 H. Any bigger and the watch would be bigger than my wrist. Careful who you ask, this is the Breitling forum rememember, it certainly seems in thsi parish, the whole raison d'être is to 'validate' each other on the wearing of a clock.

I wonder if you'd get the same consensus outside of a Breitling forum. Ask the same question in a more everyday situation, and I am pretty sure, if you did not want just polite conversation, what you'd hear.

Sorry, I must go against the flow here, and I've upset a few of you before, and becasue I'm sure the OP is not intereseted in my polite opinion, but in my book you're on the edge or over it now. It is already as big as your wrist. If you go bigger, I'd have to set the taste-police on you, and small boys would point... Less is usually more.

Depends on how you like your filth I 'spose.

I wouldn't say people "validate" eachother on this forum. To me, the opinion seems pretty honest. You make it sound that we push eachother to wear God awful monstrosities on our wrists, and pat eachother on the back. Granted, being a Breitling forum, many tend to lean toward larger models. Even with that being said, people here have been very critical with the brand for it's trend over the past couple years for its "clocks". I don't think that the members of this forum are Breitling drones that are blind due to brand loyalty. I certainly don't see that in this topic.

Virtually everyone in this thread said not to go larger...

Lol... in one post you managed to:
1. Ignore everyone else's posts
2. Agree with the whole thread whilst claiming to be disagreeing with everyone
3. Offend everyone here

:huh

When you first put on a watch bigger than 44 it seems big, but you grow into it.

KFC helps with that!

Guys, before posting in response to BrightlingWalt, just take a browse through some of his previous posts and decide whether or not it's worth responding to conscious attempts to provoke. He managed to get himself a formal warning very quickly after joining and now seems to be back after a 3 month absence. If he doesn't get the response he is looking for it will likely be a brief return.

When I put on my 44, I hope I don't grow anymore into it! :uplaugh: Yeah, 44 is about the max for me. Hope it stays that way.

There were tow option in answering thsi post.

1. Not serve his interests.
2. Have his interests at heart.

So I'll start again.

Here we go, first I shall say the usual...

"Sweet, nice pc, can we see more pics, what will you be getting next, etc etc"

Out in the real world, the world that is not a Breitling forum, most would say his watch is already too big. Like an identity-bracelet, it smacks of a 'body trying too hard. There are those with the physical characteristics to wear a watch that big, but like me, our OP is not one of them. It may well upset many of you, sorry for that, but my answer I hope will make him go away and ask himself a far deeper inner question, why does he 'really' wear that watch. That bit I have no answer for, but he does. It was the kindest answer I could give.

None of you said his watch could be considered over the edge or too big. And of course, why would you, this is a Breitling forum. For that I am sorry, but I repaet, I gave the kindest answer. Can you really say you did?

Back to the subject, sure you could go bigger. But I think that size looks perfect on you. It's all persepective and taste of course. Having a 8" wrist, I can easily pull off a SA. But I'm getting to the age and mindset that I don't want to. I still love the SA, but find myself attracted to the 40-44mm range. My new Sub C is 40mm but seems to look perfect. I think your Fish looks awesome but any bigger may look out of proportion. Just my opinion, best of luck.

Concur. As I've gotten older, my taste has leaned smaller. Before making my latest purchase, I asked myself "Do I picture myself wearing this when I'm 50?" Now, it's on my wrist. So, you know the answer to that question.

Looks good. I think that 44-45mm may be the limit for you. It is for me and my wrist is about the same size.
