Hi all,

i have a discussion with a guy that says that he is the owner of a authorized Breitling Shop called ;pacific bay watch corporation in Newport Beach. I cannot find it at the section retailers on the Breitling site btw!

He has a Breitling Bentley ICE for sale on Chrono24 and i asked him if it was the Bentley Racing with the car on the backside, he said; the Bentley GT never has a car on the backside!!!!!!
I mailed him a link from the breitlingforbentley.com site with the racing ICE and and still he said it was not possible that a Bentley GT has a car on the backside and that the ICE is a limited edition!!!!! I asked him wich limited number this one has but he didnt reply...

It is possible that a retailer knows so little about Breitling?? :(

The car can definitely come on the back of the watch because I'm looking at one right now :) However, mine is a GT Racing and from my understanding, the car only comes on the back of the GT Racing. I'm not sure what's on the back of the regular GT. The Racing is the one that is partially brushed rather than fully high polished. And if you can't find the guy on the Breitling website then I highly doubt he is an authorized dealer. He's more likely grey market.

Clearly they aren't authorised - just Google them and it's obviously a grey market site.

And buried in the Warranty section of the About us page....

"In all cases any warranty work will be handled by Pacific Bay Watch to insure quick and timely turn around time."

Roughly translated - no factory warranty.

Yep. I've checked out some of their wares not in person but because of the fact that they were semi-local. Prices are a bit over the top. But then again Newport Beach ain't cheap.

I thought there may be many complaints, but three closed
quibbles is quite commendable, along with its A rating. Being
a BBB member allegedly suggests collusion, but I have seen
non-member merchants with excellent reports.
