I'm a noob to Breitling as I recently acquired a aerospace. I've been trying to sync the analog and digital time to no avail. I've only been able to get the hands to change, not the digital time. So the hands have the correct time but the digital is 3 hours ahead... I found the manual online and some helpful threads but still can't get the digital time to change....Any help would be appreciated...

Go here...

http://www.breitling.com/user-manuals/e ... /aerospace

Click on the 'preparing the watch for use' link, and then scroll down to the bottom of the next box Nd click on 'Synchronising the Analog and Digital Time Dispays' link, and this will give you a step by step guide on how to do it.

But in summary....

After a battery replacement or, exceptionally, a manipulation error, it may be necessary to synchronize the time shown by the hands with that displayed by the digital readout.

Select the neutral position ( this seems to mean both displays BLANK)
Pull the crown out: the digitally displayed time is not the same as the time shown by the hands.
Rotate the crown backward or forward until the hands show exaclty the same time as the display (rapid rotation of the crown will cause the hands to move in either direction by a complete hour).
Push the crown back in.
Return the watch to the display of local time and reset the hands precisely (see Setting the watch to the correct time).

It's certainly not intuitive, but the animation on the Breitling manuals site seems to explain quite well.

Thanks Vulcanpilot! I had tried that several times before but obviously a bit too dense to pick it up the first dozen or so times... I've got it now. Thanks again.

Don't worry about it ... The Aerospace isn't one of the easiest watches to set or even use! The joys of having just one knob for everything

Let me know if you figure out what Breitling means by "rapid rotation". I still cannot seem to master that art. lol

I have a Breitling Aerospace USAF DEMO TEAM HERITAGE FLIGHT. I would like to get some more detailed info on this watch, how many pieces was made and a bit of history behind it. Email me at madguy35@me.com
