Hi there.

I finally picked up 1st Breitling Airborne with Caliber 33. the dial with 4 registers.

Let me preface and say I always changed the time to 6:30 before using the quick date feature. However the date does not change when i pull the crown out to the 1st position and turn. is it supposed to? does the fact that it doesnt change mean the movement needs some fixing? Also want to caveat that when i first got it, i could have swore that turning the crown in 1st position did change it.

Also does anyone have the PDF manual for this model? I cant find anywhere.

Thx in advance!

I can't remember if this has a quick set or not - does the crown have two distinct positions?

If it was a damaged date wheel it would impact the date change itself, not the quick set so if there is a problem it's with the crown stem and gears, not the date change.

The watch does have a quick date set at 10 oclock and it works. the crown also has two positions when you pull it out.

The quick date set works. Turning the crown after pulling out to 1st position doesn't seem to do anything.

Yeah, sorry I meant the crown quick set - I know that it has the recessed pusher. I don't have one to hand, but drom memory I don't think that there is a crown quick set.
