I am trying to learn and understand about recognizing authentic Breitling and buy a used one. I was looking at this one advertise as a 13352 but the sub dials bother me. Can someone help me out:

Thanks

As a general rule, the fakes of the Chronomat models weren't very good before the Evolution (ref x13356) version.
So for earlier Chronomats such as this one, provided the subdials markings & their spacings and case/crown/pusher shape are ok, the watch is real. Altro's article has an extensive but not comprehensive list of the Chronomat models for reference:

I would also look at seller feedback...that particular seller hasn't the greatest. Even if a watch is authentic, it may have been serviced with non-OEM parts by someone not qualified to do the work, or may never have even been serviced...this can lead to a huge repair bill from multiple causes. So watches with proof they were bought from an authorized dealer with service records are well worth the premium they commend IMO, as you don't have to worry about getting a $1,000+ repair bill 6 months in... If nothing else, if you get something on eBay and are unsure, make sure the seller understands that you will send it to Breitling for cleaning/lubrication and make a pre-arranged agreement that if for some reason more needs to be done that were not covered in the listing (and should have been). Personally, I'd buy a watch from here or other forums, or an AD given you can get used Breitlings from ADs for often cheaper than eBay and then you know you have something in good running shape.

Thanks you all for your knowledge. Nickzac, I really appreciate the advises I am going to follow. I feel more confident not going to Ebay as more and more I read horror stories. Thank you all.
