Looks like a Breitling Boutique is coming to Hong Kong, Causeway Bay.
Interesting, they must have read my two cents the other day about limited presence in HK :-)
Looking forward to visiting it when it opens.

hmmmm very interesting wessa. this would make sense since there are not a lot of AD's as you mentioned. plus having a large store front that does nothing but one brand looks good from a "face" perspective

How exciting, full retail!! Yay? I am just not a fan of the boutiques, maybe I am too value oriented. The plus side is that you can try out several different watches then buy somewhere else for the savings... I have done this and don't feel one bit bad about it!

I wont buy anything from there because HK AD can offer 30% or more off retail. But will be happy to try out watches, especially those limited editions.

Agree, without discounts it is not going to fly.
But than the same could be said about Rolex and Omega boutiques of which there are many and which also offer no discounts yet at the same time you can get 10-15% off at their ADs virtually just around the corner.
I guess it is all about brand presence and Breitling is light years behind the other two in this aspect, at least as far as HK is concerned so this might be a step in the right direction.
On the other hand, given the astronomical cost per square foot of retail space in Causeway Bay area, never mind day to day operations, it will take a truck load of watches to recover the cost.
Anyway, looking forward to visiting the place once it opens to hopefully see a bit bigger range Of options compared to a few popular pieces that the ADs in HK typically have in stock.

Agreed on Omega and Rolex. I go to Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon once a year maybe I will get some time to stop in and visit. If nothing else, it's great eye candy!
