Just got the first look at my upcoming watch. Sitting right now at Govberg in PA. :) They didn't have Blackeye blue dial in stock, so had to order from BUSA last week.

Can't wait to get my hand on it this Friday. And so far it has been just a pleasure dealing with George from Govberg. Highly recommended!

Cheers!

Congrats! That blue dial really pops with the blue croc strap. I don't think I've seen that combo yet.

Didn't realize that US based AD's were allowed to sell and ship out of the country. Interesting. Nice dial.

It's being shipped within the United States.

Not exactly. I'll be in US this Friday for a couple of weeks, it will be shipped to me there. On expat assignment at the moment.

Fully agree. IMO, you can never be wrong with a blackeye face.

Well, I've had this watch for a week now, and love it. Some pictures attached.

So far operating perfectly, no issues at all, all hands line up and chrono resets perfectly. Been 4 days since I synched it to time.gov site, and currently running +8 seconds. So about +2 +3 seconds per day, well within the specs. Though, I've also timed it while not wearing it (overnight ~12 hours), and it actually doesn't gain or lose anything (at least to the unaided eye), laying crown up/down/flat doesn't seem to matter.

I wish I could find a resting position where it will loose just slightly (-1 sec/day), so I can use that to compensate, but so far I can't make it lose time at all, short of just pulling out the crown to 3rd position and waiting for a few seconds.

But so far, VERY satisfied.

I've already noticed just ever so slight hairline scratches on the case opposite the crown (from resting the watch), all I can say is that it doesn't take much at ALL to get those. How do you people live with that :)?

Anyway ... .thanks for reading.

Posted the message, looked at the pics, and I just wanted to add that the pictures don't do this watch any justice really. Looks way better in person.

As for that square in the middle ... it actually shows up better in pictures than in reality. In some light it's hardly noticable at all, and makes the face of the watch look just plain ... which I like actually.

Nice looking watch, just enjoy it. Sometimes a stiff shirt sleeve is all it takes to get swirls on a watch. Try not to sweat the small stuff!
