Hi All,

A couple of theiving bar-stewards broke into Andrew Michaels Jewellers of Newark, UK in the early hours on Monday morning and stole a large number of brand new Breitling watches from three display pods.

These included some of our very own Limited Editions (some of which only 25 were ever made), some B01 and B04s, some Ladies Breitlings, some Cockpit/Cockpit Chronos, some Airwolfs/Skyracers and some Black Steel models.

I am posting this to ask you all to please maintain diligence over the forseeable future with regards to cheap Breitlings that may be offered on the open market. If you hear of anything remotely suspicious we would be very grateful to hear from you.

Thanks,

Rick.

Sorry to hear that Rick.

Which LEs went as they will be the easiest to keep an eye out for?

Very sorry to hear that! Would it be an idea to post the model and serial numbers of the stolen items so we can keep an eye out?

Apart from that I hope all is well!

That's horrible to hear! I trust everything was insured... but still sad to see LE's go!

Terrible news Rick, as Willows says a list of types/serials would be a good idea so we can keep an eye out on the bay for the usual "left to me by a dead uncle" & "lost the box and papers in a house move". I hope they catch the scrotes soon. :guns: Steve

That sucks Rick, but glad that no one was hurt. Just one request for everyone here, if anything suspicious turns up for sale in the sales section then PM Driver8 or myself and ricardo to check into it rather than publicly calling it out - we stand a much better chance of cathcing them that way!

Thank You all for Your kind thoughts.

I'll speak to Andrew about releasing a list of all the serial numbers of the watches that were lifted.

Cheers,

Rick.

Thats terrible to hear.

But on a lighter note, it appears that even the burglers arent too thrilled with the newer models. They only took the good stuff.

That really stinks, hopefully the police can find them. Glad to hear that no one was hurt.

Awful news, but lets hope they get caught soon. A list of serial numbers would be handy to cross check any for sale on other forums too. Just glad your all ok and no one was there at the time.
