What are your thoughts on this company, particular their capeland models? Also is the valjoux 7750 considered a good movement?

They make some nice pieces, nothing that directly appeals to me, but some 'classic look' pieces and good value.

The 7750 is a very reliable workhorse movement that has been around for 40 odd years and has been produced in the tens of millions (if not more), including heavily by Breitling as the Breitling 13 (and other calibres with 7750 variants).

They don't do anything special with the movement, but visually they make some attractive pieces. I have the Capeland Flyback with the exhibition caseback and it's a nice looking watch with the blue hands and accents against the white face. It's a very vintage inspired watch which I like (sorry about the crappy cell phone pic....)

I really like the Baume & Mercier Classima Executive Moonphase! Rare timepiece with good build quality and for a good price as well (if you can find one)...

I think they have possibly the best bang for your buck of any major brand out there.
