Hello Everyone! I have an issue with my Breitling Montbrillant 01 Limited Edition I hope someone can shed some light on.

For the past week my Breitling would stop working after about one to five hours of me putting it on my desk. The second-hand would almost always stop at the 37 second mark. This occurs even though on every morning I would wound the watch at least 30 turns and also wear the watch throughout the day.

This started to occur after I flew from Taiwan to Australia. This issue never occurred while I was in Taiwan. I can't think of any reason for this to occur. The only difference is the environment (Taiwan is hot and humid summer, while Australia is cold winter).

I bought this watch new two months ago and has been to Breitling's service centre once in June because the chronograph's second-hand wouldn't reset to zero.

Thanks in advance for any comments.

Interesting. I'd be taking it back into your service centre and getting them to have a look.

If it's stopping at the same point then the likely problem is with something causing friction in hte running train - a wheel tooth, dirt, etc - and if it was looked at in June that could have caused some contamination that has now found its way to a point where it is causing problems. Definitely needs Breitling attention and make sure that you tell them exactly what the symptoms are.

Thank you for the feedback.

It just seemed strange that the watch was working fine for at least a full month after having the reset to zero issue fixed and then pretty much as soon as I land in Australia the current issue appeared. I thought it might have been something to do with the change of climate, flying or some other mysterious factor.

I'll have to wait till September to have my watch looked at. Will post the results.
