First off, I should say hello as I'm new here.

Is the ebay seller billshaine a reliable source for Vintage Breitlings?

I'm keen on a 60s Cosmonaute and he seems to have a few from time to time.

I'm in the UK, so any pointers to good local vendors would also be appreciated.

Thanks

Mark

Bill's a good guy. I constantly amazed with the watches he comes up with to sell. He has an amazing collection of his own. I just wish he would stop sniping auctions I'm bidding on.

He sells some heavy mesh bracelets, targeted primarily for old Navitimers. I have been thinking about picking up a mesh to try one out in a couple of different applications where the lugs permit. Anybody know about the mesh bracelets he sells?

Bill is a great guy and I have one of his mesh bracelets on my vintage 809, also purchased from Bill. They are much heavier and in my opinion much nicer than the JB Champion vintage bracelets. For $30 bucks or so how can you go wrong?

Cheers, RDS

So I just won this auction and paid, and then noticed that seller BillShaine has an auction of a watch that has what looks like the same serial number, if I am reading it right, which I might not be.

Any ideas what may be happening here?

Just happened to see this review when stopped by to add a positive feedback for another forumer here.
While this seller "billshaine" who touts himself as a Breitling expert has some interesting Breitlings on sale and quite a few good past sales judging by reviews above( I have never purchased from him but did consider his watches), I would be very careful in dealing with him unless one verified his watches on the vintage forum here first.

2 cases of sales from this seller that I came across where he tried to dishonestly cash in on unsuspecting buyers on high value vintages
