Unfortunately my wrists won't get any smaller unless I get stricken with a disease.
I'm 6'3" work out etc.....

Sorry, but been there and done 6 rolexes ... Yatchmasters, Submariners....I'm 6'4", 235,8.5" wrist
Have 2 SA's with Blue and White face; steel band, 3 different leather bands with appropriate tool... Fits better , looks better, and get more compliments now than ever with the rolexes.... Seems like half the rolexes are fakes out there too!

And $ is not an issue for me, I go for the look!!! At your size , you WILL be happier... Oh, and my wife loves her 6 rolexes ....

I'll probably kick myself if I don't at least get the SA first.
I know the movement is better in the 8500, but I think the strong wrist presence will make me get the SA first!!

I have 3 super avengers, one of each color face and also have a omega planet ocean chrono and planet ocean casino royale numbered piece and I wear the breitlings almost every day, I love the 48mm size and my wrist is only 7" but it fits comfortable. Just purchased a Raymond Weil nab buffo rivoluzzini that's a nice size at 47mm

Hello... No,not at all; I could easily go a week an not wear it...I just set the date , time and give it a few wiggles and it's good to go... Same with the Rolexes.. I really did were them for over 25 yrs... 40mm just got to small! 44mm is ,for me, still on the low range...I have a 46 mm navitimer World an a 47mm Navitimer Monbrillant Legende... Also couple 46mm Bell@Ross....

You will not be Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!! It will wear well! And buy a good quality band changing tool, it's like having 2,3,4 watches for price of ONE...... good Luck

Jpbunk. I wasn't referring to the movement stopping. In that pic the chrono hand appears to be moving/working instead of stopped up top at the 12 o clock position.

I've got the "essential" watch tools to do strap/bracelet changes etc.
Bergeron screw drivers, and spring bar tool.

i own both, a few super avengers actually, and yes, its not a fair comparison, bit the dssd is also MORE THAN TWICE the money of a sa, so its really not fair.

:yeahthat

But, even if the DSSD is considered a better watch, it is not twice as good as the SA. You just pay for the brand. IMHO.

Personally I think the Deepsea is more than twice the watch the SA is........ but that's just my opinion! :D

President Bush would argue a Timex is twice the watch of both of them combined, so it goes to show there is a watch for everyone :p
