There have been a lot of discussions on here about springbar tools, but there doesn't seem to be consensus on this one. So, with a need to replace, which is my better bet?

The 6767S is too wide, so naturally leaning towards the 6767F. The 6111 is nice with the reversible tips, but I'm concerned that might also be too wide.

Anyone have experience with both, and if so which do you prefer??

I have seen but not used the 6111 - it looked too wide, as you say, to be of any use.

The 6767-F is your best bet IMHO. It can be used for straps and bracelets but the 6111 is really only suitable for straps but too wide for bracelets.

I think this was covered elsewhere recently.

I have also tried the 6767-S but as you say - it's a bit industrial.

I have the 6767F and it works as a charm. I used the 3153 earlier and it is ok, but sometimes too wide. The 6767F is great. The tips are changeable too, if that's helping you.

Thanks guys - looks like the 6767F.

My sister wants to get me something for my birthday and as she is still in England and wants something she can wrap and mail to me (she thinks I'm still 9 I think  ) I'll ask her for it as it's easy and cheap to mail.

For the UK members, is the consensus that www.watchtool.co.uk the preferred UK retailer?

Not only UK members - I have ordered from them too, with shipping within Europe to Sweden. Fast, easy and great service. Can do nothing but recommend them strongly!

Yeah www.watchtool.co.uk is very good. I ordered a new Bergeon loupe from them only recently and it arrived very quickly indeed. Great range of items on the site too.
