mattfogg1982 (44) has this 'Bentley Motors' for sale on e-bay - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... TQ:GB:1123

Has 24 hour clock and 1-7 day counter subdials. Sunken date wheel. Inherited from an uncle who worked at the Bentley factory - presumably in the junk section....

I dropped him a friendly note to advise, he's a little taken aback, and asks if I'm sure it's a ringer...

It's got 6 bids up to £920!

Reported :guns:

Has he replaced the original photos as the current are stock pics of a real one? That first pic looks very familar, I'm sure I've seen it on a Ebay listing before.

The bulls*** back story has all the hallmarks of a fake though!

agreed... the first photo being held in a hand is also tiny, and so difficult to see properly. Rest are stock pics I believe.

Although it may be real... the story sounds a lot like an equally detailed email I received from the Prince of Nigeria trying to transfer some money out of the country, and that was real so...

No point in adding photos as they are a combo of stock and tiny, but reported as "Obvious attempt to sell fake - stolen stock photos, tiny photo of item and highly suspect story."

Spelled Breitling wrong on the listing too.. looks like red script 'automatic' on the professional photo.

Anyone bidding here needs their head looking looking at.

His last sale was a neg and he's mainly a buyer.

Listing is still up.

:(
