Hmmmmm... sell my CE and upgrade to this??? (possibly)

Opinions?

Since you haven't started a poll yet I'll say yes. Go for it. Definitely the nicest of the Chronomat 01's in my opinion.

Best looking watch in their current lineup imo.

On rubber to compare...

I guess that is just about the Chronomat 01 LE with the small hands in silver instead of red.

I agree Wessa. Pretty much same thing. I prefer the balance of the red subdial hands in the CE. JMHO!

IMO CE is the victor with the DB. I don't see this as an upgrade to the CE.

I have to respectfully disagree.

My 01 silver dial is quite a stunner:) I like how the entire dial is silver which is similar to the FF in that the entire face is black.

Now polished vs brushed... That's a whole new argument:) Depends on the watch, IMO. The Chronomat 44 can go either way and on any strap which is why it is definitely the most versatile watch Breitling offers, IMO.

I think black MOP can make for some stunning dials, but I've never liked the B01 Romans. Now, get rid of the Romans, and brush the watch (or at least the bezel), and you'd have a pretty nice combo. As it stands, though, the FF on Pilot remains the one current Chronomat I would actually consider buying. (The 01 LE also gets that vote, except it isn't really "current" any more.)

I do like the flying fish, but I wish they would have used a different color for the second hand since the Chronomat LE already has the red hand. I don't think yellow would have been a bad option.

Flying fish with yellow accents would have been awesome!! His sled is yellow so it would have fit with the theme.

I remember seeing the picture of him in that sled and thought the yellow would make more sense. An all brushed Chronomat with yellow accents and a display back would be a winner in my book.
