She's right... well kinda. Did some snooping on google and from what I know before, Seven is owned by VF Corporation, but i just found out they made a deal to buy RR's trademark and start putting their stuff into Kohl's. Apparently RR filed for chapter 11 two years ago.

Being in the garment business before, I can tell you the denim market is a highly risky business to get into. One day you're the hottest brand on earth, next day you're clearing your stuff out at pennies to the dollar and selling out your name to survive. But I have to agree Diesel is one of those premium brands that have withstood the test of time.

I like to try all brands of denim and lately I've been slimming down my jeans (the style and the collection) a bit and I have to say my favorite pair so far has been PRPs. Expensive, but superb quality. Also have a pair of APCs in raw selvedge and they're broken into very nicely.

Suits - Tailor made by Hong Kong Tailors
Shirts - in Asian humid climate, cotton, cotton and cotton, fine cotton for formal/business and Oxford cotton for casual occasions
Cuff links - whatever, some dressy, some funny.
Shoes - Loakes mostly, formal and casual, leather upper and soles, Sandals or flip-flops on the beach.
Jeans - Wrangler, Lee or Levi Strauss in black or blue, dark.
Polo shirts - Hong Kong Rugby 7s jerseys by Kukri and anything in cotton.
Underwear - singlets under shirts, I sweat like a pig, briefs, I hate boxer type underwear, socks mainly black, everything cotton of course.
Jackets - sport type, leather, some great unknown brands picked up in fell off the back of a truck type Hong Kong sales.

That's about the extend of my wardrobe, nowhere near as religious about it as my watches other than the shirts perhaps.
