Hi,

I am new here and I have recently purchased a new Breitling Cockpit with which I am very satisfied with.

Now I have found this older model Brietling for somewhat of a bargain and I wonder if I should get that one as well :) The seller says it is genuine but doesn't have the box or papers. Does anyone know what model it is? And if it looks genuine?

Best Regards

Looks it like it could be a genuine model from the early 1980s. Some of the other guys may be able to confirm though

Dobrodošao Rambo :D
It's real Colt "Military".
It's old quartz, not worth big cash.

Thank you for the information. After som googling i believe it looks like it is a military colt with a quartz movement. The guy says he inherited it hence no papers. I don't know if these old models were copied. He is selling it for $400 (just reduced the price from $800). Vill try to haggle some more. Do you think it is worth the money?

Don't worry about authenticity, it's real.
Sure it's worth $400.

As bnewbie says, it's real. For $400 I would buy it for the strap if that's a Breitling croc.

I didn't think about that. I just got some more photos and it certainly looks like a genuine Breitling strap with the Breitling tang buckle. Thank you for that advice :)

Ok, I'll see if I can get some more pictures in order to establish if the strap i genuine.

I found that this watch was sold in an auction in Sweden last October for about $500. Found this when I googled the ref. and the serialnumber I got from the seller.
