The Blackbird is the now discontinued model. The new one is the Chronomat Blackbird.

that is one of things i cant really understand, why did they remove the thing that made this model unique? the faceted bracelet

IMO, they pretty much messed up every model line except the Avenger/SA and Navitimer.

They've done well with the Navitimer. I also think the SOH line is pretty good, by and large. As for SA/Avenger, I would say they haven't messed it up yet. It's the one range left that has its design roots in the early-to-middle part of the last decade, which was Breitling's peak period. We can only guess at the horrors in store if they ever decide to update the line.

+ 1 although I would also argue the Avenger line has gone backwards compared to the iconic Titanium Chrono Avenger....
