Have been looking for an Aerospace Avantage with co-pilot for a while ... And have never managed to get one, most being snapped up almost immediately.

However, I managed to secure this .....

http://www.watchfinder.co.uk/Breitling/ ... item/20882

... for an excellent price, with p/ex, and reviews of the company are excellent. Evidently has box but no papers which always worry me a bit, but I thought I could get a replacement COSC cert from BUK.

Anyhow, whilst looking around on t'internet, I came across this site....

Link to Replica site removed by Roff.

and am now starting to panic a bit as I thought that the Aerospace range hadn't been copied ... Certainly not very well.

I haven't taken delivery yet, having just paid a deposit, but this is the 1st time I've bought 2nd hand, and obviously finding a site that claims to sell fake Avantages has got me sweating a bit. I cannot believe a reputable and well reviewed company would ever sell on a fake, but how can I be sure?

Anyone got any advice? Suppose I can take delivery and get it checked out by a Breitling dealer, if it's a dud then take action as necessary, but wonder if I can ask for the serial number and then phone BUK to check?

Thanks in advance.

Please do not link to replica sites!

The watch that you got is real, the photo on the replica site is of a real watch, the one that you would get if you bought it would look nothing like that!

Yes, you are correct that there are no accurate looking fakes of the Aerospace so the watch in the first link is real.

The one on that fake watch site is also real and bears no relation to the actual watch you'll get from there.

PS. I'd remove that link to fake watch site before Roff censors your post.

Edit: Ah Roff, you just beat me by seconds on this one!

Sorry Roff ... Just wanted to point out what I'd found. Certainly don't want to give any kind of advertising to this scummy trade.

Phew ... That's a relief then ... Cos I looked closely at the photo on the fake site and the photo of the watch I'd bought, and I couldn't see any difference. You know what it's like when you have just convinced the Mrs that what you have done is the right thing, and that there are no fake Aerospaces, no really ... !!! Then you just happen to find a site selling fake Aerospaces whilst doing a google search. I can uncross my legs now, cos I know exactly what would have happened if it had been a fake that turned up!

Thanks guys.....

This is what the fake Aerospace actually looks like.
