Thanks Sharkman, I guess Breitling are now using both just to confuse people more when looking for endlink codes.

IDK, this is clearly the first model year - 1998 - because the model number is A19030/G192. So it is pre-COSC. It is also odd to see a serial # of only four digits. But, I am pleased to report, over my first 48 hours with the watch it is balls on - +/-0 secs/day.

I guess I'll keep it.

That's great news, and with a modified eta. I know its a matter of regulation in part, but of all the watches I have owned, including manufacture movements, the most accurate have been the eta Valjoux 7750s in my old Panerai 48 and Breitling Navi Fighters I just sold.

Impeccable taste Sharkman! :lingsrock:

If you don't mind, was that a Navitimer bracelet with 424a code that you were using on the first picture?

423A

Thanks Sharkman! As you can see from my signature, I have the same watch and I was hoping to see how it will look with the right bracelet. One of the threads on the forum mentioned that it's supposed to be 424a.

Thanks for the serial number as well - I had the Colt before getting the 1461 and I also wondered why it only had 4 digits for the serial number.

Sharkman, I must admit that I'm a little surprised you let the BB go. However, you've replaced it with one hell of a good looking piece. I'm usually not a gold croc fan, but it looks suburb on that watch.

Tom, I think this is absolutely hideous and I think you should flip it without delay.
I beg you however, PM me first before you do it :-)

That really is one of my all time favourite Breitling's - just a stunning watch overall.

Looks great on the wrist Tom and both bracelet and leather work perfectly.

You can never be wrong with a gold croc, really perfect match.

Despite the fact that it will turn out much darker with time.
