Have been considering the watch below as my first breitling. Any thoughts on its authenticity? Thanks much - this forum has been great for research as I contemplate taking the plunge!

Does that dial look like it's 60 years old as claimed or does it more like it was produced yesterday?

Garbage.

Wit hthe additional photos on eBay you can see another obvious problem - no serial number so eveb if the model number was correct for a Breitling (it isn't) that's another issue.

Also, with the ability to zoom the pictures, look at the bridge engraving and compare it with the other movement engraving.

Yeah, it seemed at odds with the condition of the hands. Thought it might have been restored or otherwise cleaned up, but it is at the very least suspicious.

Thanks for confirming my worries.
