Well guys, my 10,000th post on this fine forum!

If my meagre post count hadn't been so totally and utterly eclipsed by Mr Roff (despite me having been a member a day or so longer that him!), I might've made a bigger deal about reaching this particular milestone. As it is, Roff has 2.5 times that number, so for me to make a big, self-indulgent deal out of hitting the 10k mark would seem a little trite!

So I'll simply say that it's been, and continues to be, a real honour to be part of this superb forum, and hopefully somewhere along the way I've managed to add at least a little value here and there both in terms of info/knowledge and moderation duties. As they say, it's the people who make a place, and (the few occasional and thankfully transient weirdos aside! ), the people we have here have always been an excellent bunch of folks.

Congrats! I have a long way to go...

Statistically that's around 2000 posts a year.
For me than it was around 1000 posts worth of words of wisdom given that I have stumbled across this time killer forum around six months ago.
