It's not a bracelet - it's a bangle.

I don't have any intentions on owning one... but has anyone tried it on? Is it at all comfortable? It doesn't look it..

never tried the Air Racer, but these "bangles" were quite en vogue in the 1960s, just like the leather Rallye straps, so some of my 60s watches came with such bracelets, the last a 64 TopTime. Could, of course, not resist to try them on - masochism.

I bought the air racer racelet as a last moment decision on my new watch. It is actually very comfortable even for a small wrist like mine, but I thought it was to BLING for my taste after all. So, I put the Air Racer on the internet. Funny how the mojority of people slam this bracelet as being ugly, and then when they get a chance to buy it for cheap they tumble over themselves to buy it.

I decided to keep it for myself and it has been on my wrist for a week now. Don't know if i'll keep it there, starting to like it a lot.

I don't love the look of mesh, but it sure is comfortable. However, I'm not a fan of these Air Racers.

And the Air Racer looks like something En Vogue might wear.

This would make a great poll:

Q: Would you rather wear an Air Racer or go on a date with a member of your choice from En Vogue?

Ouch!!! Guess I know who not to invite to join my Air Racer fan club!

Have had mine now for almost 3 months and love it. Fits perfectly on my wrist and is very comfortable. It doesn't inhibit my movement at all, though I could definately understand if one had particularly large or small wrists that it wouldn't be the best choice. I'd also concede that it's generally not something I wear for all occasions. The only thing that really does irritate me is that the polished finish scratches/scuffs very easily. I've only had brushed metal before and underestimated that aspect.

Maybe its generational, or demographical, but I hope they continue to put out some interesting/contempory designs. If I hadn't seen the AR bracelet in a magazine ad, I probably would have never come to know or appreciate Breitling as I do now.
