1) SOSF
2) Oc
3) Tag

Just my opinion. . .

Also if it helps you can mix the fish up a bit to change the look and feel of it with a verity of straps, rubber, leather and Croco. Many colours Work well with the blue dial.

Good luck in your choice!

Doesnt the fact that your mate has offered a straight swap with either of these watches tell you something, me personally id keep the steelfish and save up for omega at some point one will come up. once you let your steelfish go you will regret it

 +1

It's really a personal choice of course but it's a no-brainer for me: Steelfish all the way bro

Yes, the more I think about it, the more I agree with you! The Steelfish is not going anywhere as I'm sure I would regret it down the road. I do see the Omega come up from time to time, so this will be the plan! Thank guys, you have all been a great help!

I think Tag's greatest strength is also their greatest weakness. They have been very successful in becoming "one's first nice watch" in that not only everybody knows them, but everybody also knows they cost mor than a Swatch.

In that, they have a huge market, and in order to cater to it, they're sold at every possible place, including supermarkets.

And here lies their weakness: for the "connaisseur", a watch that clearly shows that you have probably just entered the world of nice watches is a problem. And what started as a status symbol when you proudly bought it quickly becomes a sign of your inexperience when you start to get a little deeper into the world of the WIS.

Nobody wants to be a newbie and even less want to look like newbies, which leads to people quickly moving away from the brand, as if to say: "I've totally grown out of that".

Aside from that, I feel Tag has missed the boat on cultivating their icons. Their watches, although they partly carry emblematic names, come in all shapes and colors. Thus, they somehow don't have that visual heritage other brands are upholding so preciously. Look at Rolex for instance, they have a product lineup so simple and well structured it becomes instantly familiar. Result: you feel like you've known each product for ages and look at it as a piece of culture... This is how a watch gets to have identity.

With Tag, it's all a bit cluttered... There's the Carrera this, the Carrera that and whatnot. Each of them is different to the point where you wonder if there is another reason for the common name than pure and shameless brand-milking.

Result: their watches are not only ubiquitous, but also kind of anonymous.

And what worries me is that Breitling is sailing in the same direction quite a bit these last years... The coherence of the lineup is certainly being hit by fashion-driven model alterations that fit or fit not with the names they carry (just look at all the things that have been called Superocean these last ten years... You'll be hard pressed to consider that a coherent and well structured family)...
