I had the Striking 10th for a while and appear in the minority here. While I could appreciate the technology, it seems I am destined to more pedestrian pieces as I just could not get used to the herky-jerky movement of the chrono second hand - the very feature that makes it special. The fella I sold it to, however, evidently loved it and sent me texts for weeks after receiving it. At least the watch found its way to someone who could appreciate it. The watch is special, but I am simply ordinary. :(

Congrats on your new additions.

There's no accounting for taste....especially with wierdos like you Sharky.

On the other hand I absolutely loved the appearance of the watch and the tri-color retro subs.

There is a standard non-striking 10th El Primero with that dial option. However, I think it may only be 38mm.

I had the 1969 Version with the same dial. Still not sure why I sold that one.

Also a fan of the Zenith, a real classic. What do you find yourself wearing most often?

Am glad to hear that your father is doing well. A health scare really puts things in perspective.

Good question. I'm not sure. They all get a good look in. I rotate often. Sometimes up to 6 or 7 times a day when I'm at home.

Yup, really great to hear abt your father Ricardo!

I LOVE the 275. That was almost my first Pam.

While I appreciate the Seikos, 3 would be too many for me.

On the Graham & Ploprof, I wish there's a viable "watch-exchange" program because I woud have loved to wear either of those for a few weeks or months in xchange for my Pams or EM maybe... Lol!

Great to hear everything is well Ricardo.

On the watch front - I can't agree more with the direction you've gone. I like the PAM and Zenith in particular, and have always respected Seiko and would like to add a Grand Seiko to the collection one day.

Rick,
glad to hear your dad is doing well.

As for the collection, it sure has changed. I really like the PAM and I am warming up to the Seiko spring drives a lot. Such unique, cool, technology. I love the Ananta chrono. Nothing wrong with changing your collection as your taste changes. Lord knows many here have done that.
