First of all hello all, this is my first post after being directed here by f4buz.com.

I've just got back from Turkey where the markets and watch shops are full of fakes and spent hours looking at different models. I've noticed that some of the fakes are getting very good and some of the obvious checks like the center pin and the "B" on the second hand are very passable now, lots of the models I looked at even had fully functioning chronograph dials. The one thing that still seems to be wrong on all of them is the date window, its always too small and never in the right place.

Was looking through ebay and came across a Breitling Navitimer World A2432212/B726 and it doesn't look right with me. What do you all think?

The sub-dials don't look right and the Breitling logo looks printed rather than embossed? Plus it comes with no papers and a tatty box!!

Cheers,

Adam

:real:

But overpriced since it comes without box, papers and is on leather-strap.

Its real. The quality fake of the Navi World has sunken date wheel with the wrong font.

As noted, this one is real, and you can't always rely on date window size and location identifying a fake, so always check here first.
