It's real - and a pretty early COSC piece.

It definitely looks real. This was also the very first Breitling for me 11 years ago.
Worked perfectly for years until a nasty encounter with gravity and a concrete floor late last year.
Got it fully serviced early this year and it came back looking and working like new.
I hope yours too will bring you many years of joy!!!

Thanks for the assurances & the warm welcome. The seller's pictures were ultra hi-res & he even posted a video. Hard to imagine all that effort to pass off a fake of an entry level piece with low replica demand. As we know, it's easy to get caught up in the fake or real dilemma when buying these on ebay. My warranty book actually has a dated service event w a breitling stamp, so assuming it's actually the book for that particular watch, it looks like someone in the know has had a look at it. Well, thanks again...I hope this to be the first of at least a few Breitlings I have the pleasure to own. Cheers!
