Congrats on your choice! Very good lookin watch. How is the legibility of the time on the white dial?...in the pics, it looks like it's almost hard to tell the time.

Actually, I got word from a fellow owner, that legibility is quite good with the white dial! But I don't really care... I got a few white chronos, and legibility is always somewhat limited... but with this massive hunk of a watch, I think I'll always just stare at it and still don't know the time!

I'll put in some nice shots of it when it arrives (I also ordered a bunch of OR-straps with it, perfect for the summer!) :yeahthat

I wear a Blue SA with batons and a blue OR strap and I find its a very comfortable combo . It handles the weight of the watch well and is a not so common combo where I live.

I have the AF Blue Seawolf and am very happy with my decision. Some people hate on blue dials, but I've always received more compliments on a blue dial than I have the latter (and from people who tell me what they really feel). This is the third blue dial watch I've owned and probably won't be the last (My first 'Ling was an '04 SO Steelfish with a blue dial that I miss dearly as a result of theft). I'm currently eyeing up the chronomat 44 with polished/satin with the mirage red dial. I'm not a big trend follower when it comes to my watch selection.

Thanks! I love the blue Seawolf... but the fact that the blue on these big watches is more of a mate or flat color kind of turns me off... If it would be a metallic kind of blue like with the B1 or the Headwind, I'd be all over it! ;-)

Thank you guys... any good pictures of blue dials?

(the dials are all more of a flat color not metallic, right?)

Definitely. It's what I didn't like about it, but sounds like it's what you want. Eventually it did grow on me and I'd like to have it again.

Here's a pretty good shot of what to expect in person.

I like the look of that - shame you can't see more of the face though.
