And the lung (lug?) and bracelet don't have serial numbers on them anyway.

It's the numbers both on lug and bracelet to identify date of production!

Fair enough, but those aren't serial numbers and not particularly sure what relevance they have on the purchase. As others have siad, the watch is real.

There is always the possibility that the serial number has been polished off if it has been originally sold through a a grey market dealer.
