Not sure if this is the correct place for this, so I apologize if it isn't.

The bezel on my SA spins more freely than I would like it too (with out me spinning it). If I tighten the little screws around the bezel - 1/4 turn each screw, will this tighten up the bezel?

It sounds like the bezel spring is worn out. Its a small ring underneath the bezel with tabs that provide the resistance for the bezel. Time for a service.

Yes, to both posters above. The spring might be worn, but a slight tightening of the screws is probably all that you need. Dont go too tight though, or the bezel wont turn at all. Just loosen the screws up to make sure that they are moving freely, and then tighten as necessary. And make sure you use the correct size screwdriver! The screws strip pretty easily if you dont.

I've never tried to adjust bezel screws, but the thought of it makes me a bit queasy. I can't tell you how many times I've stripped tiny screws - from watch bracelet screws to eyeglass/sunglass screws - even though I've used the correct size screwdriver. If the screws are the least bit tight, the risk of stripping is very high, especially if you don't know what you're doing. (And it could well be I didn't.) You really need to be careful. Personally, I wouldn't trust myself to do it, and I'd take it to a qualified watchmaker instead.

I would have thought there should be Lock-Tight on these screws to avoid any issues regarding loosing?

A Few Breitlings.

The key with tight screws (including bezel and bracelet watch screws) is to tighten them a tad before loosening them. I couldnt tell you the science behind it, but it works.

Ive messed with them many times and have never had even the slightest issues with them loosening. I think there is blue loctite on them, but ive never reapplied any.

They have loctite on them, but like RJ I've never had any issue with loosening them (not Breitlings anyway : Doxas are a totally different story though!), and I've also never reapplied any threadlock and never had a problem with any coming loose.

Me three! I've take the bezel off my Cockpit on 2 or 3 occasions to give the watch a really thorough cleaning and never had any issues with screws loosening over time after being reattached. I had the same concern, but RJ put my mind at ease.
