Looking to buy one or possibly two Breitling Bentley's. I am looking for a dealer who will be able to order the watch and give me a discount over 30%. Anyone know of any good dealers? I haven't had much luck around the NY/NJ. Thanks!

with the prices increases to dealers over the last couple years, the days of 30%+ discounts are basically over - there isn't enough margin for the AD to make sufficient profit to keep the lights on.

The last new Breitling I bought, granted about 35% of the typical Bentley price, my AD gave me a very good deal. She then turned the computer screen to show me their profit on the piece - $200! That couldn't have paid that one watches share of the overhead for the year it sat there. Craziness.

From what I last heard the markup was 45% but I guess that not entirely accurate. Thanks for the feedback guys and setting my expectations.

In Jamaica and the Bahamas they gave great discounts. Don't know if they will do business over the phone though.

There are some Bentley models that dealers can buy from BUSA for close to 60% off of MSRP. Mark VI Complication 19 is one of them, I heard that from 3 ADs.

If you ask around you can find an AD to give you 30% off.

Also, as Sergio pointed out, the discount percentage is model-dependent, so before we can really predict the likelihood of finding a dealer who will discount 30%, we need to know which models scient is after. Last I heard, he was looking for a Motors T. What's the margin on that?

The margins are the same on every Breitling?? What about the models that Breitling runs spiffs on and gives dealers extra points off?

The current models have the same margin. If you're referring to the discontinued models or stuff that never sold in the first place, you've already gotten your answer from 3 ADs.
