I want to keep a sense of balance in my collection. I'm not sure where to go next. I know many here have faced this dilemma. What did you do? Four pieces at one time will probably be my limit. Given the current lineup, what are your thoughts? Thanks :)

As Biz said a chrono could enhance the collection.
Looking at the current line-up, looks like you are into diving watches.
Omega PO perhaps?
On the other hand maybe it is time to consider something for the formal occasions?
Transocean perhaps?

A chrono; something on the dressier side. Not too dressy since it seems like youre into divers, but something just a bit dressier. No suggestions though, since ive got no clue what price range we're talking about.

Thanks all! The consensus seems to be a chrono of some sort. You all are right in the fact that it would round the colection out nicely. Wessa, your recomendation of a PO is a good idea, I've always been a fan of that model. The only things bad about a chrono are that 42mm is about the max for me at this point. Though I like the look, a chrono is a complication, I just don't use. Then again, It's pretty hard to be practical in the luxury watch game! :)

Price point is probably low to mid 4k range. That being the case. I probably definitly need to cruise the secondary market. Again gents, thanks, and keep em coming!

you have taste like me, kinda that diver/industrial feel. adding something alittle dressier is a good move to change things up. perhaps a preowned navi/world with some color to change it up?

I know you have a couple Breitlings in your collection but an Avenger would work well; Navi is another great idea. IWC aquatimer chrono is awesome.

you seem to really like the whole dive watch motif and if you want to stay on that route i would suggest a Rolex 116610 LV or more commonly referred to as the HULK.

another option might be to the the new Rolex Exp 42.

2 Rolex's and 2 Breitlings would really round things out.

Thanks again all! Thinking maybe early 2000s ExII Polar dial. It keeps me close to my 4.5K range...ish. Stepping away from the "dive" look, but staying in the "casual" range, seeing as I don't find myself in a suit often. If so, a white dial 40mm watch can pull double duty nicely. If I went chrono, it would have to be vintage to keep the pricepoint.

But lets see what presents itself. All the watches I own were targets of opportunity. The next one will probably be the same!

SO 'Fish - Discontinued. AD had last one in the case.
SO Abyss - Same AD ordered wrong band (second time) for watch. Offered heavy discount, so I jumped at a watch to fit it.
Sub - Discontinued. Last no-date they had before the new ones. Love the classic look. Not a fan of the new ceramics and bigger lugs :(
