I came across your website yesterday while trying to verify if a Colt Ocean that I have an option to buy is the real deal.

I have taken it to an AD already to check and they reckoned that it is the genuine article, but I would really appreciate your expert advice before committing to buy. It has the box but no papers.

As for time keeping it gains 4 seconds per day....just trying to cover every angle.

Please find attached some pics and if you need more just let me know.

Superb website by the way.

Thanks in advance for your feedback.

Looks real to me.

Good Pro 2 Strap with correct numbers
Correct looking hands and markings and the printed Breitling Logo looks right.
Caseback looks correct as well.

Shame the owner lost the papers.

Cheers,

Thanks both for your reassuring replies.

It is a shame that the seller does not have the documents but as I plan to keep it long term I am prepared to take that into account and bargain on the price accordingly.

Any other comments will be welcome.

All the best

Not sure what else you need, if bnewbie says it's real, then it's real.

I was just looking for reassurance I guess.

I burnt some late night oil and trawled back through previous strings when I signed up and noted an exchange about the level of watch knowledge of some AD's. Although my local AD said it looked real I felt I needed some more expert views.

Thanks again
