Well the AD and BUSA were correct if that is what the OP asked - the Motors T has been discontinued.

The better question to ask is whether the Motors T Speed has been discontinued.

True, and that's an important distinction. However, the "Speed" portion of the moniker was merely a transitional phase. According to the B-Source model page, in 2011, "Speed" was dropped from the name, and it reverted back to being the Motors T. At that point, technically, the Motors T Speed was discontinued, but the Motors T still was in production, even though it was the same watch. So, when BUSA says the Motors T has been discontinued, are they talking about the pre-Speed or post-Speed version? To get the correct answer, someone would need to ask about the model number. The original Motors T (pre-Speed) is 25363; the current Motors T (post-Speed) is 25365. We know for sure the 25363 has been discontinued. The real question is whether the 25365 has been discontinued.

This is one of the more annoying aspects of Breitling's naming scheme. By renaming models so often, it gets difficult to tell what they're talking about in situations like this.

Regardless of official naming conventions, the newer (chrome ringed) version is referred to as a Speed.

Either way, it sounds like more information is needed. If I were the OP, and really wanted to know, I'd call BUSA again and refer to the model numbers, just to be sure.

I will check with Breitling USA tomorrow using the model number.

This was the only Bentley whose bezel is different from the other circular bezels. I like the satin finish instead of the polish and the Motors T and the GT Racing are the only ones that offer this. It is unfortunate that they decided to discontinue this model without a suitable replacement.

Is there any chance the model number of the Speed would have changed when the name reverted back to the Motors T? B-Source just shows the model numbers for the original Motors T and the Motors T Speed, and no amended number for the reverted Motors T.

Good, there you go. Scient, if you want to find out if the model you're looking for is still in production, ask BUSA if Breitling is still producing the a25365. (That number is not specific to the blue dial, but to all stainless Motors T (Speed) models.) Even if the answer is no, they might be able to tell you which ADs still have them in stock, if any, so you might still be able to track one down.

BUSA confirms that A25365 is discountunied with no immediate plans to replace it. They said this happened in the last 8 months to a year.

Unfortunately they said they don't know which dealer might have inventory of this particular model and I would have to call around.

Well, that's a drag. The watch is too big for me personally, but I still think it's a classic in the Bentley line, and I'm sorry to see it go. I'm not entirely thrilled with the new models they're introducing, either. Jeez, Breitling...always disappointing us.

Im pretty sure if you don't mind buying used, you should be able to find one. I bought my motors used and saved 50% over retail. Plus it came with a bracelet, black and brown calf skin straps. You might wanna call little Switzerland over in st Thomas. I was there 2 months ago and at the Breitling boutique, they had dozens of every Bentley model, motors, 6.75, gt, gmt, and flying b's. Never seen so many, probably had more than they had normal Breitlings.

Thanks for the tip, but the Botiques dont discount at all, so I dont think its going to be an option for me. I also looking to get a new one, so the used option is out as well. I guess I'll just have to call every dealer in the country to see who has the ones that I want.

I'm not sure what price you were trying to buy at, but they wanted 8200 for a 6.75 on bracelet, plus they throw in a free leather strap.

They offered me the same thing at the Bahamas location - a free leather strap, it was for a Complications 19. I don't recall the exact price but somewhere in the $7k range.
