Ok, so I am always guessing other people's watches, it's time for my own 'guess the watch' thread. A few hints:

The case is made from a rare material. (depends on how you define rare).
It's a redesign of a discontinued model.
In house movement with an extra complication.

That's enough for now. Matt and John are excluded from participating! 8)

That watch is steel....it doesnt have an inhouse movement...and is a HE valve a complication? Not sure but good try.

Tough one, Sergio. I've typed four separate answers already, only to delete them when I realised each didn't fit one of the criteria.

If you're in the mood to elaborate on your hints:
- is titanium considered 'rare'?
- does a date count as a complication?

I'll throw in a wild guess while I'm at it: AP ROO forged carbon diver.

I was thinking an IWC ceramic, but it doesn't meet the discontinued part.

Yeah, I considered that too.

Also the IWC Ingenieur double chrono titanium, but I think the movement is probably a 7750 derivative.

Hmmmm, I think we're going to need a bit more to go on here.

I initially thought something like the JLC Memovox Tribute To Deep Sea as it is a redesign of a discontinued model and has an in-house movement with additional complication, BUT it's made of steel so that's out.

I'm going to have to assume that the line, "rare material. (depends on how you define rare)" is going to mean titanium? How about giving us a hint on size as well?

thought about the JLC Tributes (Memovox or Chronographs) too, but defining Steel as rare would be a stretch ..

"depends on how you define rare": Liquidmetal ?

Otto good guess but the AP diver isn't discontinued. This one is on my radar though for sure but it's a must that I see it first, no sight unseen on that one. I wouldn't consider date an an added complication even though it kinda is. However I would consider a big date an added complication. In this case it doesn't have a big date but does have a date window. Albeit is an 'different' kind of date window.

Fred - already have liquidmetal, that's out. But I would define LM rare because it's only be put on two watches thus far.

Driver and Shark are on to something.

Next hint. I believe the case is made from two materials, one rarer than the other, but the case is all one color.

Size...mid to upper 40's :)

Lots of clues here guys splattered throughout.

If it's that big what about a Ceramic PAM. Someone who's an expert on the numbers will have to figure out which one fits the bill, but they have some tribute pieces.

Wow, that size is more than I was expecting!

OK, how about JLC Master Compressor Extreme World Chronograph, or the Extreme W-Alarm? Bi-metal construction, in-house movements with complications, and mid to upper 40's. Oh wait, they aren't redesigns of discontinued models......

So how about the new IWC Top Gun Chronograph? Ceramic and ti (OK, not quite the same colour but dark(ish)), in-house movement with complication, mid to upper 40's in size, AND a redesign of a discontinued model? :D (And I know you like that model!)
