I know you said no PP boxes, but we could all afford the box if we really wanted it, and they are that nice, that some would say it's worth doing.

Hands down PP. I was offered a Nautilis box complete set for $1000, mint condition. Same guy that I bought my set of hand made crystal Breitling watch stands from. Never seen those before anywhere else either!

I find this thread to be quite interesting.

But for those of us who haven't seen what your are describing Wouldn't you agree?

This was the box for an entry level blancpain that I had. I would imagine that the more expensive models have upgraded boxes as well, but I cant remember seeing one off the top of my head.
