Craigs been doing some wonderful things with my 785 that sent to him for servicing, here's a disassembled picture of it:) along with a older wrist shot prior to servicing. More pics later and when I receive it!

Btw there is "TL 242" scribbled inside the case back possibly by some watchmaker or dealer long ago, anyone can guess what it could mean? Doesn't look like a date for sure.

congrats, San !

as expected, the dial will clean quite nicely - this piece will be just perfect (or as close as possible, with a watch approaching 70 years)
grail !

some bigger pics would be good to document that piece, including movement and inner/outer caseback ?

Thanks Fred, am very happy with the results, it looks very classy. Now to find some more nice straps for it:).

I can only upload 200KB files so had to resize them. I also have movement and inner caseback pics that Craig sent to me, how do we go about with bigger pics to document it?

http://www.photobucket.com !

lets you embed pics at your desired resolution, better for Admin too, as this reduces storage needs.
it really is quite easy to use, you just copy the IMG link to your post.

re straps. the reddish brown croc u have looks great, you might want to try honey croc ?

Thanks Fred, do the pics get stored permanently or get deleted after a while by Photobucket?

Yes, was thinking honeycroc and also some exotic straps I guess like here http://www.attilacustomdesigns.com/watchstraps.html
