I've never been a fan of the Breitling Colt series due to its small size! But when I saw a client of mine at the office yesterday wearing the latest version Breitling Colt 44 black face on steel bracelet, I was very surprised how stunning it looks :wowzers and just the perfect size at 44mm. It looks great even with a suit.

Are you an attorney/is your client being sued for spending past due alimony on self-tanning lotion?

Aesthetically it just doesn't seem to have a lot of Breitling DNA in it. I'd been dithering about a Colt Quartz II (2006-11) for ages. When I saw the new Colts I went straight out and got one of the old.

Same with me and the superocean 2. The sooner breitling buries these designs the better.

Sweet jezuzzz, you’re a knob! Yo man , the Colt 44 and Superocean II are amazing looking watches and there are actually many people who BUY and love the look of these new models. Call them whatever you want but don’t be a douche and bring everyone down!!! :poke:

Shawn, the Colt wasn't received particularly favorably around here. Not everybody hated it, but it did seem as though considerably more people disliked it than liked it. You're certainly entitled to your opinion, but you do have to expect a bit of guff if you're going to be trumpeting a design a lot of us feel represents the nadir of the brand.

You know what they say JacksonStone...opinions are like azzholes. Everyone has one!!! Different strokes for different folks. I don't personally have that strong of feelings for any watch. There are some that I like better than others, but I really don't see the need for bashing. I don't honestly care that JacksonStone strongly feels that the Colt 44 represent the nadir of the brand, but from what I saw, the latest Colt model is quite a stunning watch and very well built. It may not be for everyone, but I really love it and I'm sure there are other people out there who feel the same way too.

+1

It's another new Breitling that does nothing for me. The watch looks to be a very lazy design, and the bracelet looks like an after thought.
