It was a new model It was out the same time as the one with the coin in the dial. But I can not find this on the internet is this a model or am I mixed up. Can someone help me.

Maybe this is the one you're thinking of. Apollo-Soyuz anniversary model. It has a meteorite dial. It is illegal to possess moon rocks and I assume that applies to mood dust as well so I'm guessing this is it. For the record, moonbeams are free for the taking.

I guess no one told Romain Jerome that.

That Romain Jerome watch is very unusual. I just did a little checking and found an interesting article on pbs.com. It states that it is illegal for individuals to own moon rocks, pebbles and dust brought back to Earth as samples. It is, however, legal to own dust that was returned to Earth on spacesuits, equipment, artifacts, etc. I'm not sure how one distinguishes but that's the FBI's problem, not mine. So it seems that Romain Jerome may not be headed to the big house.
