The first thing to try is to manually forward the time and see if the date changes and continue if the date changes for all 31 days. Based on what you described it doesn't sound like the date will change, but you never know.

Sorry about the issue. Sending a watch back so quickly is always a disappointment, but at least they are standing behind their goods.

I should have included that, but I am unable to manually advance the date by forwarding the time. I have tried advancing the time manually 24 hours and the date will not change. Only the quick set will advance the date.

I recently had a similar issue with my Superocean Steelfish. Sent it straight to Breitling and they fixed it. No idea what was wrong, but it did need their intervention.

It's a problem with the engagement of the date wheel with the running train, probably caused by someone not following the 8pm - 3am rule (although there are other reasons). Definitely needs service centre attention to fix.
