Anyone Tranocean Chrono owners? I'd like to know the lug-to-lug total length of this beauty - not the 22 mm interlug width but a length that should be cca. 55 mm. Having a 6.75" wrist this would be an important factor when buying. All right, I know a personal trying the watch on is the way to go but still - it would be fine to know.

Thx in advance, best:
Robert

55 mm as measured with calipers from lug end to lug end.
47 mm between spring bar holes.
My wrist is 6.75 as well, some would argue it is too big for me but I just love this watch so I don't care.
Here is a pic on my wrist.

Thx for the prompt and very accurate reply! BTW your watch is a real beauty! What is your experience on the keeping time of the TOC? Well withing COSC limits? How long do you own it?

I have to sell a few cheaper watches (better say less expensive) and this (all-black dial) for suit occasions and Chronomat 41 blackeye-blue for weekday wear are planned:) while my CSO I. will be reserved for weekend- and vacation-time...

If you have a few wrist-shots about your TOC with a less close-up (e. g. mirror scans or photo taken by someone else from a larger distance) I'd be glad to see them too - easier to determine the watch-to-wrist ratio... :)

Enjoy your beauty!
Best regards from beautiful Budapest:
Robert

I bought the watch new at the end of January.
It has been running consistently at +1 sec/day, exactly the same as my Navi and Chronomat with the same 01 movement.
I am very pleased with it.
I have taken a few pics for you, PM sent.

Post some pics here when you get it.

Wessa.

Of course I will but it'll take time 'coz I have to sell a few other watches, mostly safe-queens to raise funds. Hopefully this year at least one of the two... Thx for the info and PM, scans are 1st class!
Best,
Robert

I would have guessed 55mm! 6.75 might be able to pull it off. Wrist shape will be as important as wrist diameter, though. I was crushed to find out recently that the lugs were too long for my 6.5" wrist, especially with the 1461 version on its way soon. Crushed!

A little bit more "wrist action" and you might just gain that extra .25 in time for that 1461

There are so many ways I can go with this....none of them good, so I'll just put myself on Mute.

While we're on the topic of lug-to-lug length (well, we were before things went downhill), what is that measurement on the Superocean Heritage 42? I'd guess ~52-53?

That is about right, maybe a bit longer. However the lugs slope quite a bit, so even I can pull one off...and have.
